Step: 1 Analyze and Choose a Profitable market and Select your Niche

This is the first step of profitable website flipping. Here you can analyze a profitable market. Say for Example Mutual Funds, Investing, Personal Finance, Internet Marketing, Casino Games, Sports Betting, Marketing, Health Care are just the few examples of profitable markets in the world that you can target via the Internet. Say for Example, you think that Foreclosure is great problem in the US Economy and there is a huge money making opportunity in this market than start your website under Foreclosure Niche. If you think that Classical Music is a good market than start your business in that Niche. Let me tell you that I have developed profitable web businesses in literally 100 micro, small, medium and large Niches. So the sky is the limit here.

Step: 2 Buy a Domain Name for your Website Business

Once you choose your Niche, it’s time to find a good domain name that suits under your Niche. What I do is I visit Google – Keywords Tool External and search for the various keywords under my desired Niche. After that I visit GoDaddy.com to search for the availability for various domain names.

Ideally I prefer following types of Domain Names for my web businesses.

- KeyPhrase.com (Best but almost impossible to find it available)
- Key-Phrase.com
- KeyPhraseXYZ.com
- XYZKeyPhrase.com

In short, I make sure that the key phrase which I am targeting should be included in my domain name. So that it becomes more search engine friendly. I personally buy Domain Names from GoDaddy.com

Step: 3 Buy a Web Host

Once you Buy a Domain Name, it’s time to buy a web host. A Web host is something where the content of your website will be stored and become available online for 24/7 to the internet users from all around the world. Typically a web host can be in any country in the world and you can access your web host account from anywhere in the world with your computer. I personally prefer the HostGator.com to host all of my websites.

Step: 4 Connect Domain Name with a Web Host

Once you buy a Domain Name and a Web Host than it’s time to connect your Domain Name with a Web Host. For this, you will have to change the name servers and Web Hosting details in your GoDaddy.com account and add the domain name in the HostGator’s cPanel section – Add Domains. This is a little bit complex process but you will find a guide to do this both on GoDaddy and HostGator.

Step: 5 Install Website or a Wordpress Blog theme on your web host

Again this is a complex process and you will find a guide and literature to do this on Google. And if you don’t want to do it by yourself than hire a professional freelancer from Elance.com and he will do all of this technical work for you.

Step: 6 Start posting valuable, Unique and Interesting Content on your Website

Step 6 and 7 are the most important steps of the website flipping. Once you have a installed website or a Blog, start posting unique and valuable content on your website. The content should be written in such a manner that it MUST add some kind of value in your target market.  Before expecting any profit from your website, you should add value in the life of your targeted market than and only you will make a profit from your target market and a website business.

Step: 7 How to Divert a Targeted Web Traffic towards your website/blog?

Now this is also very important. Once you post the valuable and keyword rich unique content on your website or a blog, it will automatically start attracting the targeted web traffic from the search engines like Google, yahoo and Bing. Another thing you can so is – Social Media Marketing means using Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Orkut, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Reddit and many other things to spread the words of your website in front of millions of eye balls.

Alternatively, you can buy a targeted web traffic from Google AdWards also if you start your business with enough budget.

Step: 8 Monetize your website and make it Profitable

Once you have a unique and valuable content and a targeted web traffic on your site, its time to make money from that web traffic by offering some kind of product to that web traffic. I personally use ClickBank.com to offer a product. Just remember that it takes 2 things to make money online.

- Targeted Web Traffic

- A Product

If you put a product in front of a targeted web traffic than it will generate sales. It is that much simple logic. Alternatively, you can also monetize your web traffic with Google AdSense or many other ad networks also.

Step: 9 Sell your website/Blog business on Internet’s market place

Once your website starts generating profits, it’s time to sell it. There are several online marketplaces on the internet to sell your website but I personally prefer Flippa.com over any other market place. Put your website on Flippa.com marketplace for Sale. Believe me, if you have a profitable website than investors will be in queue to buy your valuable asset. In fact, I have sold literally dozens of small to medium websites like this before selling my 100 websites portfolio for US $ 3.5 Million.
